Just wondering, having opened the emails that turned out to be spam, is my computer at risk. Naturally I did not reply and will delete them but is it too late?? This business about being stuck in Spain after being robbed and please loan me the money and I promise to pay back, etc. actually happened to us when we were in Barcelona. It seems to be a familiar story.
Regards
Sharon

Hi Nina & all,
Whatever you do regarding these spams DO NOT forward or reply to them. These sorts of emails hijack your mailbox addresses in order to self-perpetuate.
A general rule of thumb, if you don't know them or are expecting them don't open it. Instead delete it. If they are genuine they will contact you using more reliable & conventional means.
Regards
John
