You can see a screencast of connecting WebPA as an IMS LTI (Learning
Tools Interoperability) tool provider to Learn 9 using both the core
Blackboard functionality (9.1 SP4+) and the open source BasicLTI
Building Block (9.0+) at:
http://www.celtic-project.org/Project_blog/2011/11/An_instructors_view_of_LTI
Learn 9.1 SP8 also introduced an option for System Administrators to
create a placement of an LTI tool which can add it as a standard menu
option within a course (either as a tool or a content item).
For further information about using LTI, see the website for the
JISC-funded ceLTIc (Creating Environments for Learning using Tightly
Integrated Components) website at www.celtic-project.org. More details
about the open source Building Block for Basic LTI can be found at:
http://www.spvsoftwareproducts.com/bb/basiclti/
This adds support for LTI 1.1 as well as some of the unofficial extensions.
