Lecturer in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or Public Health (Clinical or Non-Clinical)
The School wishes to appoint a full-time or part-time lecturer to enhance its active epidemiological research programme, which includes major interests in cardiovascular, respiratory and eye diseases across the lifecourse; analysis of electronic primary care databases; effects of air pollution on health; and both observational and experimental studies of the health benefits of physical activity.
The duties of the post will include both teaching of medical students and epidemiological research. Previous experience of one of these is essential, and both would be desirable. We are seeking candidates with an interest in chronic disease epidemiology and a relevant non-clinical background or clinical training.
The appointment will be made on the non-clinical lecturer scale SGUL 7 from £39,810 to £46,964 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Or, the clinical lecturer scale from £33,154 to £55,825 per annum inclusive of London Allowance, as appropriate.
