One two-year temporary full-time post (commencing Sept 2012)
One one year temporary full-time post (commencing Sept 2012)
SALARY:
Two-year post: €33,975 - €38,860 p.a.
One year post €28,500 - €37,500 p. a;
Position on scale will be made commensurate with qualifications and experience.

POSITIONS SUMMARY:
CSTAR, the Centre for Support and Training in Analysis and Research, was set up three years ago with funding from the Health Research Board. The aim of the center is to strengthen research quality by providing advice, consultancy and education in research methodologies to health researchers in Ireland. The remit of CSTAR includes the areas of study design, protocol development, statistical analysis plans, project management, data collection, statistical analysis and report writing. It is located in the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Population science on the Belfield campus of University College Dublin.
CSTAR now has two vacancies for biostatisticians (a one-year post and a more senior two year post.) The post holders will be part of a core team which will fulfil the remit of the centre.
