As part of the work for Open Access Repository Junction I need to find
SWORD end-points in repositories.
Writing code to poke at web pages is easy.... and the recommendation
from the SWORD people is that the SWORD endpoint should be defined in
the home-page HTML "head" section thus:
<link rel="Sword" href="http://url/to/servicedocument" />
Where this is not specified (over 90% of repositories, in my
experience), we can look is "sensible" places.... but what are those
"sensible" places?
So far, I have: sword/servicedocument, sword-app/servicedocument,
dspace-sword/servicedocument, cgi/sword-app/servicedocument, and
IntraLibrary-Deposit/service
Does anyone know the default locations for repository applications?
In OA-RJ, the following platforms are listed:
DSpace
EPrints
Digital Commons
OPUS
dLibra
bepress
Greenstone
CONTENTdm
Diva-Portal
Fedora
DigiTool
ETD-db
HAL
SciELO
Open Repository
diva
Digibib
MiTOS
opus
etddb
VITAL
XooNIps
ojs
Cybertesis
greenstone
(there are a further 100 applications listed, however with less that 10
repositories using the application, I've not listed them here)
