Just to say that we have imported the missing eight certificates from
the logs kept by the signing machine.
So we're back in business, and as far as I am aware there has been no
data loss at all as we have recovered all certificates and requests,
even those made after the backup was made on Friday 6th at 15:02.
Also, we have found a fairly elegant fix for the step which caused the
database corruption in the first place, and we used it to restore the
eight certificates that were signed after the backup was made.
(Of course we have backups from after Friday 6th, but they will have had
corrupted databases in them.)
Apologies again for the disruption - if there are any problems let us know.
Thanks
