These stretch the definition of dance, but I challenge anyone to watch this Parkour (freerunning) video and this BMX freestyling one and say this isn't dancing the urban...

Subject: Re: dance/city/geographical - In Lebanon
Hello,
We have been working on a similar project in Lebanon with students and dancers in Beirut. Check it out at http://www.facebook.com/pages/4D_-DesignDance/143659512401641
It is a blend of landscape studies, urban analysis and dance. We worked with filmmakers to make two dance film shorts - in a the salt flats along the Mediterranean coastline and in the snowy mountains. We have not had a chance to post the films online yet - they have only been shown in Beirut. When that happens, I will send it out to the list.
Check out our stuff on facebook when you have a chance!

Hello All,
Here is a link to a video of Wayne Sables dancing the urban geographical. To me, it is exquisite. I am curious, does anyone have other examples of dance/city?
