We've almost finished replacing all our Cisco with Aruba. Initially we
looked at ways of having the same SSID on both but it turned out to be
impractical. The approach we took was to try to never have a building with
mixed APs and only have either Cisco or Aruba. It has worked well for us.
If you have a plan where you can run the same SSID on both kit and roaming
between devices in seamless for the user then you might be fine. I'd be
surprised if the competing RF management systems play nicely together
though.
I presume you would be using Airwave to manage the estate?
