Wednesday, 11 July 2012 "e-Assessment in the VET sector"
Presenter: Melanie Worrall (The Klevar Group, Australia)
The Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Australia defines e-assessment as the use of information technology for any assessment-related activity which covers the end to end assessment process. However, in practice most people still focus on the evidence gathering aspects of the assessment.
This session will review the e-assessment guidelines for the VET sector and look at some examples of the ways technology is being used in the evidence gathering process of assessment utilised by registered training organisations (RTOs) across Australia.
Audience members are encouraged to participate and contribute.
