Thanks for your supportive email re me not attending the RGS and sorry again! Nothing too drastic on the family front, just some tensions around child care.

I'm interested in the special - a great initiative! Like Sara, I'd be up for helping with editing/pulling it together too if that helps.

I could offer a paper on participatory geographies as they relate to transition and sustainability - drawing on my work with the ELC, Transition Research Network and sustainable education, if you'd like more info let me know

Thanks for your suggestions - and would be great to have you on board with this!
So far things are looking quite positive with quite a number of paper suggestions - which I will write up into a more formal proposal for a special issues shortly, but before I do I was wondering whether you think Area would be happy to support this as an SI - and what sort of time frame we would be looking at.

Hi Sophie, Hi everyone on the list, Kia ora koutou katoa,

I'd be keen to write something from an Antipodean perspective drawing on some exciting devleopments here in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia, possibly even into the South Pacific.  Would that be of interest?

Also happy to lend my editorial labour should that be strategically and practically useful.
