Next Tuesday 26th June, the Coordinating Comittee for Media Reform in
conjunction with Hacked Off will be holding the second in our public
seminar series. This initiative has shaped up to be an exciting, engaging
and influential set of debates on key areas of concern for media reform.
As we turn our attention to remedies and solutions, Dave Boyle will set
out the case for co-operative media and it is one that has attracted
considerable interest from policymakers and civil society groups across
the political spectrum:
6-7.30pm Tuesday 26 June
CAN THE MEDIA BE CO-OPERATIVE
a discussion with Dave Boyle (Co-operatives UK and author of 'Good News: A
co-operative solution to the media crisis')
at the Centre for Creative Collaboration, 16 Acton Street, Kings Cross,
London WC1X 9NG (5 mins walk from Kings Cross station)
Please come along and engage in this critical debate ahead of Leveson
module 4 - how can we make co-operative media work and crucially, how can
we make sure it is high up on the agenda of media reform. The meeting is
free and open to all.
