Hi Danny,
Not in a gallery context, I'm afraid, but a combination of Google tools
could be made to do what you ask for if you were satisfied with their
terms and conditions - and if I understand what you mean by real-time
correctly.
So you might use,
A Google Form for data capture- http://www.google.com/google-d-s/forms/
A Google Spreadsheet for data storage -
http://www.google.com/google-d-s/spreadsheets/
A Google Gadget for displaying data - and then there's a "Publish"
option for embedding Gadgets in other webpages.
Now, as far as I am aware, the data in the gadget would only change with
a reload of the page that contains it, but it's always current when you
_do_ update.
