LIS-LINKER comrades!
Article metrics
One of our researchers has just been told (by Scopus, to which we don't subscribe) that a paper co-authored by her in 2002 has just passed 300 citations. She would like to know what this level of citation represents in her research field (food allergy), i.e. is the paper in the top 5% of highly-cited articles, in the top 10%, etc, etc, etc. I don't think I can see a way to do this, but am I missing a trick? The tools I have available to use are the usual range of bibliographic databases, including Web of Knowledge but excluding Scopus. Any ideas as to how I might do this would be very welcome, as would confirmation that I'm right in thinking that it's not possible...
Best wishes,
Andy
