If you currently work with or have worked with, or are a user of
electronic resources, your participation in a survey would be greatly
appreciated.
Since 2004 when Electronic Resources Management Systems (ERM Systems)
were first released, ERM Systems have addressed the libraries' need to
manage and store data about resources, provider contacts, licensing
details and usage data, but they've not addressed the libraries' need to
manage and store the multitude of data needed to manage electronic
resources. As a result, libraries began to store electronic resources
administrative data in a multitude of places that are not often
accessible or quickly accessible to those who need the data.
This survey is intended to document where libraries store administrative
data used to manage electronic resources. In addition, responses are
sought to assess attitudes toward storing electronic resources
administrative data in ERM Systems.
The survey consists of 19 questions and will take approximately 10
minutes to complete. Please know your responses are completely
anonymous. Preliminary results will be presented at NASIG 2012, while
final results will be published in the NASIG Proceedings, an annual
volume of /The Serials Librarian.
/The survey can be accessed at:

/
The survey will remain open until June 20, 2012.
Please feel free to pass on this survey to colleagues.
Thank you for your time.
