Should be pretty easy to achieve. They would need to install the Shibboleth service provider (for example, Apache mod_shib) and then protect the interface with "passive protection". See

They would, of course, have to ensure that the user arriving at your site was not merely signed in to any old Identify Provider, but was signed in to yours, when determining whether or not to advise the user to log in. There might be a bit of extra configuration to do for each Summon site, therefore, but it's all technically possible and not much work for someone who has done it before.
