Subject: Student-Generated Induction Workshop (Collective Reflection and Group Portfolios)
Hi,
I know that some on this list are concerned with technology and reflection (as well as with learning support in general). For that reason you may be interested in a workshop we are holding in York on July 19th. This workshop is on "Student-Generated Induction: A Social Identity Approach." It will be an opportunity to experience a collective approach to reflection using classroom technologies. One interesting aspect is that this generates a group-portfolio (a whole-group view) as a deeper basis for reflection in its social context.
We have used variations of this approach for induction, transition, work-placements and reflective practice. Those interested in booking a place can do so using the attached booking form or there is an online booking facility at http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/3821777038
Best wishes,
Nick
