Dear collogues.
I wanted to write to you the other week, but I wasn't feeling well,
however because the debate is still active and is now being discussed
in the English High Court because of a case brought by Tony Nickinson
I now feel I want to speak my mind.
I don't know the people personally who have alerted us to the polls on
the issue of Physician Assisted Suicide but I do have my concerns when
the poster appears to influence our thinking and tells us how to vote
- this is not a democracy. Each of us should be proud that with the
right to make our own choices in life.
If this singles me out as an outcast, then so be it, but I'd ask you
to consider what that makes you.
For the record, I am pro Physician Assisted Suicide and I support the
efforts of Tony Nickinson and his legal team.
Thanks.
Becky.
