Action Research in Deaf Education: The Third Symposium
University of Leeds: Friday October 19th: 10.30 - 3.30
Facilitators: Visiting Professor Marc Marschark, Ruth Swanwick, Paula Clarke, Jackie Salter.
This is the third symposium to be hosted a day at Leeds University for practitioners who are developing action research in their school or service. This day provides an opportunity for colleagues to come back together to share work in progress, outcomes and new ideas. Professor Marc Marschark, visiting from the USA, will be involved as one of the facilitators to support the development of these initiatives.
We are inviting participants to present short (10 - 15 minutes) poster/ppt. presentations about their current or planned action research or to share materials in a workshop session. Time will be given for discussion and development of these ideas.
Numbers are limited and we will prioritise practitioners with work in progress to discuss. If you would like to attend please email your details and 100 word abstract of your presentation to [log in to unmask] by July 15th 2012.
Details will be sent with confirmation of your place.
There is no cost for this day which is supported by the School of Education Research Investment Fund
