Hub Productions Ltd is a video production company providing media
production services to corporate organisations to meet their key
business objectives, including live events, documentary,
communications, promotional and training films. Hub creates both video
and animated content and delivers a complete service to our clients
from consultation, concept creation, scripting, storyboarding and
production to final delivery. Hub has a diverse client base
incorporating brands and organisations within the public and private
sectors.
Hub is looking for a Product Developer to work on an exciting project,
funded through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) between business
and Universities, embedding graduates into businesses to work on
challenging, high profile projects, supported by the expertise of
Universities. You will be employed by City University London on a 2
year fixed term contract but will work full-time at Hub TV in London,
working under the joint supervision of Hub and experts from the Centre
for HCI Design, School of Informatics, City University London. City

engineering; mathematical sciences; informatics; the arts including

world-leading or internationally-excellent research in the last
Research Assessment Exercise. Led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor
Paul Curran, the University has embarked on a strategic transformation
to strengthen still further its position as a leading global
University.
Responsibilities
This project will develop an innovative online interactive video
product that will enhance user experience and interactions for online
learning solutions. The position will provide you with the opportunity
to gain valuable, practical experience and new skills, with the
possibility of securing permanent full-time employment with the Hub
once the project is completed. At the end of the project, you will
have developed a strong ability to investigate user needs for
interactive video, and to design compelling and effective interfaces
for novel products, along with managerial and business skills at a
leadership level. You may also be eligible to register for a higher
degree at City University at reduced cost. In addition, the project
comprises a generous development and training package, travel and
equipment expenses, and the possibility of year-end bonuses based on
performance.
