It's just a week until the closing date for Lothian Health Services Archive's two-year fixed-term Project Archivist vacancy. This post will deliver a Wellcome Trust funded project, 'Cataloguing Norman Dott's neurosurgical case notes (1920-1960)', including a methodology for cataloguing case notes followed by entries for c.26,650 case notes and dissemination of the project outcomes via a seminar, exhibition and publications.
You should have an honours degree, a postgraduate qualification in archives administration/management and substantial experience in a professional archive role including practical experience of cataloguing to ISAD(G) encoded in EAD/XML.
This post provides an opportunity to work on unique archive collections and to develop their rich potential as a key part of the services offered by the Centre for Research Collections, University of Edinburgh.
Salary scale: UE07 (£30,122 - £35,938)
