My work is currently looking at exporting archival finding aids into archival systems – clearly not ideal given the lack of hierarchical system, but there is a belief that this will mean greater use of the archive from students.
I’ve found a few journal articles describing how collections levels have been exported into their library systems, but was wondering if anyone here have had experience of this, and if other levels can be put on with at least some hierarchical information?
Would anyone also be able to tell me about experience of exporting MARC from CALM?
Feel free to contact either off or on list,
Thanks very much,
