On Tuesday 3 July, the third in a series of 4 lecture days on Mathematical
Methods in Reliability takes place at Durham University, with special
attention to Uncertainty Quantification. These events are partly sponsored
by London Mathematical Society, with specific goal to identify key
mathematical challenges in the field.
Detailed information is available from
http://maths.dur.ac.uk/stats/people/fc/LMS-Reliability.html
All are welcome to attend. There is also the option to contribute short
talks - if you are interested in this then please contact me before Friday
15 June indicating clearly the topic you would like to talk about (ideally
give a title and short abstract); there is no guarantee we can include
all in the schedule but we'll do our best (poster presentations may
also be possible). Research students are also very welcome to use
this opportunity to raise and discuss any research challenges in this field.
There are no fees but please email me (see the webpage) to register
with regard to lunch and refreshments.
