Translating - Pairing Practices: a day of workshops and discussions exploring the relationship of writing to art and design practices at research level.
Date: 23 Jun 2012
Start Time: 10:00 am
Location/venue: The Centre for Creative Collaboration (C4CC), 16 Acton Street, London , England, WC 1X 9NG
The day explores translation between material and writing practices in art and design, with a focus on research student culture across disciplines and institutions. The emphasis is on pairing practices in keeping with our understanding of translation as a movement across, which is democratic. We intend to focus on communication between pairs, drawing on participants’ diverse backgrounds, experiential development and current contexts in a grassroots development of ideas.
