Leeds University and Philips Electronics (UK) Limited have recently won a prestigious UK Technology Strategy Board Award to run a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to accelerate the development and introduction of new point-of-care testing (POCT) services, initially focussing on oncology. The project is currently recruiting a KTP Associate to support the project. The job will provide top class training & research opportunities. It will be based at Philips' facilities in Cambridge but will be supervised from the Leeds Institute of Health Sciences and have access to one of the largest academic oncology centres in the UK.
