VISUALISATION IN GENETIC AND EVOLUTIONARY COMPUTATION (VizGEC 2012)
to be held as part of the
2012 Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO-2012)
July 7-11, Philadelphia, PA, USA
Organized by ACM SIGEVO
http://www.sigevo.org/gecco-2012
The forthcoming GECCO workshop on visualisation in genetic and evolutionary
computation (GEC) will provide an opportunity for people interested in the
uses of visualisation in their GEC research to meet and discuss ideas. The
workshop will begin with the presentation of three papers on a diverse range
of subjects.
In the second part of the workshop we would like to offer the opportunity
for researchers to demonstrate tools that they have found useful for visualisation
in their evolutionary computation work. Following each demonstration, there
will be an opportunity for a short discussion.
We also wish to provide a forum for discussion of current visualisation problems.
Researchers currently engaged in evolutionary computation work involving a
visualisation problem are invited to give a short presentation, after which
there will again be an opportunity for discussion.
If you would like to demonstrate a tool or discuss a visualisation problem,
please contact the conference chairs at [log in to unmask] so that we can
include you in the workshop timetable.
