Hi Kajsa, We are using a touchscreen for a very simple closed system that doesn't require typing so don't have the need for a mouse or keyboard. eCrisper allows for the disabling of the cursor so works well with touchscreens.

Tony

Thanks to all who suggested solutions for me, I did in the end use eCrisper and have found it to be very flexible and secure, I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a Mac based kiosk solution.

Hi there - I have been using TenFourFox (customised version of Firefox) with 10.5 (on a PPC Mac) for a kiosk, and this has been working pretty well

The problem I have is the new kiosk mode function only works in 10.7 and I cannot use this OS for a variety of other reasons. I really love the way Chrome and Opera's full screen mode works via Applescript but sadly can't use these browsers. It turns out that Saft is now not compatible with the very latest version of Safari, leaving me with a piece of software called eCrisper.
