cat: Workaround g95 compiler bug
g95 does not like
MOD(INK,2)
as it does not promote the 2 to INTEGER*8. gfortran handles it
fine. The workaround is to create an explicit INTEGER*8 variable
and assign 2 to it.

starbench: Use temp file rather than /dev/null
Since /dev/null exists FIO gets upset if you use it for the log file
when "correl" is run.
