I'm guessing that within the VBM8 toolbox you have used DARTEL to
normalize your images? If so, this aliasing is a known consequence
that is visible in unsmoothed images. See, for example:

If you smooth the images before doing statistical analyses (which
hopefully you will) it should not be a problem.
