We would like to invite applications for a Systems and Data Administrator to work in the Department of Neuroimaging at the Institute of Psychiatry. The King's College London Institute of Psychiatry maintains a growing number of Solaris and Linux systems to support the acquisition and analysis of neuroimaging data, supporting a multi-disciplinary research and clinical environment. The post holder will work under the Systems and Data Manager (Chris Webb) to provide technical expertise to research staff and students in this area, and to maintain these Unix resources. The post holder will provide high level technical support and guidance, assisting in the Unix Systems and Data Manager in the efficient delivery of Unix Services across the IoP. In particular, they will provide the front of house support to staff and students using the network which will require them to both develop and deliver training as well as to deal with queries via email and in person. They will also support the technical management and maintenance of the network.
