Dear Prof. Torben Lund, and Prof. Eickhoff, Simon,
Thank you very much for the information.
I received a lot of references and will go through them first.
I hasten to thank both of you and also have to explain.
I am sorry for my lack of explaining details. Our analyses included regressors of movement related factors and global signal etc.
And our studies are correlation analyses across subjects, so even when the noise could not be removed at 100%, I think probably unless, the psychological variables of interest should not correlate with noise systematically, the remained noises practically do not matter. So, my concerns as well as reviewers' are rather aspects of technical procedures (at least I think so).
Reviewers seem to think the rsfMRI analyses should be done with low pass filter + high pass filter together with other normal procedures as have been done in previous rsfMRI analyses, I am doing rsfMRI analyses with AR(1) + high pass filter with other normal procedures as have been done in normal SPM's fMRI analyses. And TR = 2s and we do not have the information of respiratory or cardiovascular related physiological variables. I thought my procedures were "more" appropriate because of the reference below and due to the fact the low-pass filter had been already removed from SPM long time ago, but the reviewers do not seem to be pursuaded.
Anyway, again, thank you very much for the information and references. I will question again, if the references did not solve my question.
Best regards
Hikaru
