Dear Hardik
Probably, it would be good to have some more information. First, what do you mean by "not the same".
If the differences are relatively minor, then most likely they can readily be explained by interpolation. In the end both the forward and the backward transformation will employ interpolation in some form.
If the differences are striking, e.g., if the resulting image does not match the original one at all, if would be useful to know, how you proceeded in applying the inverse, i.e., how you set the parameters in the deformations toolbox. What you should do is select Inverse -> Composition -> imported _sn.mat, leave Voxel-size and bounding box as NaN. Then in the field "image to base inverse on", you select the original image 8source for the non-linear normalization).
As an alternative, you should try to use the unified segmentation to transform your data into MNI space. Not only is it (usually) more robust, it also provides forward and inverse transform straight away.
best regards
Simon

Betreff: [SPM] Inverse Transform
Dear users,
I have non-linearly normalized my data to the MNI space. When i am applying the inverse transform matrix using deformations in SPM8 to bring the images back to the original image space, the result is not same as the original. Is there any way to get the correct result?
Thank you,
Hardik.
