Hello,
I am a Masters student currently undertaking a research project on educational children's board and card games on topics such as arithmetic and natural history from the nineteenth century. I have looked at Melanie Keene's work on Science in Sport and am interested to question further whether children learned ‘science’ from a board game. Are there any references that I could be referred to which would shed further light on this question or theoretical articles dealing with how children learn science?
Many Thanks
