yeh
what she said
I've been listening to all this stuff about the nature of marriage
recently -- and for ever -- particularly from Romney, but there's a lot of
blokes in dresses and dog collars over here doing it too. There are many
analyses and more than one fits; but one is: what is he / are they so
afraid of?
I read in the paper some story about Romney, and perhaps it is only a
story, where he is supposed to have looked at a young man -- this is way
back -- and said _he can't look like that_ and cut his hair -- as an
imposed act, an act of violence
I sense fear
They make people unhappy. I suspect they make themselves unhappy.
And there are all kinds of fear. In *my youth I wouldnt go to my friends'
marriage because they married in a church... Some years on, I gave my aunt
away (splendid awful phrase!) in a church. All that had happened was in
the intervening years I had *really stopped believing. I was still scared
of religion on the earlier occasion
I think that was not... No, that *was unreasonable. It is explicable
perhaps. But what is the fear of homosexuality? I never did get that. But
it is there everywhere so much
time to stop burbling
