I was very interested and impressed in the way the series of poems
evoked the light quality of the landscape, the close sky, muted colour,
lower dynamic range; in photographic terms. Interested also because I
have a similar (opposite) problem too, with the very high dynamic range
beyond digital, more saturated colour and bigger sky, where I am.
Innoking this in words.... mmm... interesting technical question.
I am about 22 miles north of Newcastle on the NSW coast. But the problem
has a long history for me, here, and inland NSW, where the sky is even
bigger. See...
