Hi Lean
An assessment would be a good idea to just identify in detail the issues, I find Dyslexia Action to be a good source, cost approx. £450, very good reports. I had a case recently where a chap had similar difficulties that you describe and we looked at mind mapping techniques for him to help with organisation and note taking, he now uses the software and he went a course - helped considerably. See http://www.mind-mapping.co.uk/mind-mapping-information.htm for further info.
Best regards
Karen

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] dyslexia
Hi all,
I have a young social worker who is dyslexic, main difficulty is spelling and organisation. Of late under a lot of pressure and constantly trying to 'catch-up' with backlog. Apart from voice activated software in office, can anyone recommend anything else that may help her work more efficiently, e.g. during note taking at client's place. Also, apart from Access to Work, any other avenues ? Any particular company where best to get software/hardware?
All advice appreciated and thanks in advance.
Rgds
