Good Morning. At present skin health surveiliance is not in place for three meat factories. The employees wear cotton gloves under disposible nitrile gloves in most cases but others handle meat carcus without gloves. HOUR do not see the need for HS as there have not been any reported hand concerns. I feel that washing hands 10-20 times per day is a potential hazard which should be monitored. Please can you advise if you would do HS and how frequent would you review in this case. If you have any questionaires you are willing to share I would be most greatful. Thankyou.

Many thanks to all of you who responded to the above subject. As always it has been interesting to get all the diffierent views and I will certainly take your advice on board. The employee has today commenced physio treatment through the NHS.
Regards
Tanya
