Hi Marilyn,
Thanks for that. I advertised in the BACP journal, and local papers and
pestered quite a few organisations.
I don't know if you saw the piece in last weeks Daily Mail:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2141609/The-broody-men-left-bereft-wives-high-flying-careers-refuse-babies.html
My wife and I were interviewed (and photographed) for that piece but were
then dropped.
I think possibly because they wanted me to say my research had shown that
it was women choosing careers rather than having children that was keeping
men from becoming fathers. I pointed out I couldn't say that as I hadn't
done any research in that area specifically. ITV's this morning also
contacted me but again they seemed to very much to want to pursue the
above agenda.
It's good to know someone has read the paper and found it useful. Actually
a playwright in Australia (http://www.healthplay.com.au/bio.html) has
written a play based on that paper and my MA.
He has cast it and is just getting funding together for touring with it.
If anyone knows anyone in the theatre-world then I have a script and stage
directions, its a four-hander and designed to be staged anywhere (e.g.
building sites).
Best wishes
rob
