The Arts University College at Bournemouth has a vacancy on its BA (Hons) Film Production course team
BA (Hons) Film Production is a specialist course, in the context of a unique specialist Art, Design, Media & Performance institution. The BA (Hons) Film Production course utilises a departmental structure modelled on the film industry contextualised by a philosophy of practical learning in an academic environment.
You will be an enthusiastic practitioner who is able to convey an in depth knowledge of directing for film to masters and degree level students. A good knowledge of related areas of film production is highly desirable.
You will take responsibility for managing the effective learning of all students, including setting, supervising and assessing work. You will also contribute to the development of the course curriculum and undertake a range of tutorial and pastoral responsibilities. You should be able to work as part of a team with a commitment to a student centred approach.
Our ideal applicant will have both a wide range of experience in the industry and in the teaching of film.
