Hopefully it's just a mock-up (there is certainly a big enough space for Cochrane!) and Cochrane will be reinstated in the final version? The link under eBooks says "access journals" - although links to books - so there are obviously a few oversights!
The actual HDAS search looks a lot like the OvidSP search, with the ability to apply limits to an existing results set (rather than only when running searches) which is handy if like me you're good at forgetting to apply the limits...
It might be popular with people who are used to the OvidSP databases, eg students?

Dear all
We have the period between 16 and 29 May to access the redesigned HDAS - and comment on it to NHS Evidence - before it goes live on 31st May. This will give you a chance to familiarise yourselves with the new look - and to incorporate it into your training and promotional materials.
Please note that SHALL's Expert Test Group has been testing this over the last week or so - and has been feeding back comments to the NHS Evidence team.

Healthcare Databases search redesign- Preview period for Librarians
The redesigned NHS Evidence Healthcare Databases search (HDAS) will be available for you to preview from the 16 - 29 May allowing familiarisation time prior to its launch on 30 May.
How to access the site
To access the redesigned Healthcare Databases search, click on the following link http://temp.library.nhs.uk/default.aspx and then log into your ATHENS account in the normal way.
You can use the redesigned service in the way you would expect to use the Healthcare Databases search (or similar services like Ovid or Ebsco): selecting databases; carrying out searches; using the thesauruses; applying limits; viewing, emailing and exporting results; using the clipboard; saving searches and creating alerts.
If you encounter any problems, please complete the feedback form<https://www.evidence.nhs.uk/about-us/marketing-resources> with as much detail as possible, and send it to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. If you need to report more than one problem, please use a separate form for each.
We will resolve problems as soon as possible and let you know when they are fixed (or explain any known issues and work arounds). [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> is only to be used for reporting problems with the HDAS redesign.
Problems with the live service should be reported in the normal way using Contact [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
