I've just emailed Dr Stone to alert him, in addition to Wendy's
suggestions, to my historical guide to the Parallel Roads of Glen Roy,
available online on the website of the Darwin Correspondence Project. I
should also have added Hugh Torrens' and my guide to the Isle of Wight,
produced after the trip we led for the Geol Soc bicentenary. Probably HOGG
