Field Surveyor – London/Home Based:
Our client has a requirement for a field surveyor who has experience with Ordnance Survey data and specifications to join them on a short to mid-term (6months) basis.
Essentially:
1) Experience of ground/field surveying – the role will involve field based interpretation of aerial imagery answering queries raised by the offshore digitising team (a typical field survey would involve verifying the geometry of a building, the “function” of the building and/or confirming the building’s address).
2) Experience of Ordnance Survey data capture specifications and/or the specifications used with OS mapping products (MasterMap) – the candidate will also “take ownership” of my clients understanding of Ordnance Survey capture specification and will be advising the offshore team on any items they are unsure of. The field surveyor will be expected to run quality assurance checks on a sample of the offshore work on a weekly basis.
3) Must have a driver’s license and be willing to use their car for field work
4) Must be willing to travel extensively in the UK and also the occasional trips overseas if required.
5) Will be either London based on home based (if home based you will be required to travel to London frequently).
A flexible working arrangement is offered at an hourly rate ranging anywhere between 1-5 days per week depending on demand. Interested field surveyors please forward your CV to Jon Graham at Triad Resourcing ([log in to unmask]).
