Dear experts,
I am running a TBSS analysis on a sample of children 8-18 years old. As advised, I did not use FMRIB58_FA as the target image for registration (since it’s comprised of adult brains) choosing the –n flag on tbss_2_reg instead, in order to choose the most representative brain of my sample as the target. My question is: when TBSS searches for the most representative brain of my sample, should it search amid all subjects (both healthy controls and patients), or is there a way to limit the search to healthy controls only? Since FMRIB58_FA is based on healthy brains only, shouldn’t I maintain the same rationale with younger samples?
Kind regards.
Ana
