Hello
Haven't tried remote services as we have a team of electronic notetakers
who sometimes voice for the students (not that often as I think the
students are not keen). We haven't tried it, but I think it would work
better to connect the students laptop to a large screen so everyone can
read the students contribution - this would require a very good facilitator
though.
UbiDuo guys were in our office last week. Bit plasticky and the screen is
small, but looks good for small meetings or study groups. I am not sure
about use in a seminar as it is reliant on everyone being able to type
quickly and having a screen conversation. Having said that this generation
of students are so used to Facebook etc. they may be fine with it - it is
very like Messenger except you can interrupt each other (which I liked!).
Costs about £1.8K for the pair.
best wishes
Ember
