I deleted the minimum and maximum aliased frequencies and still the doubling (sometimes tripling of display occurs) of spectra
shows up.
Isn't there a way to get rid of this ?

Sounds like you've inadvertently aliased the spectrum.
To undo this, go:
Experiment > Spectra > Referencing (tab)
Delete any values that are in "minimum aliased frequency" and "maximum aliased frequency".
Hope this helps,

Sometimes I find two copies of the same spectrum displayed side by side in the window. This is annoying, and does anybody knows how to get rid of it ? Removing the spectrum from the project and adding it again does not resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance,
