You are invited to participate in 'In Dialogue: two days of provocations, discussions and interruptions exploring dialogue through dialogue.' an International Symposium that will take place at three sites across the city of Nottingham on the 30th and 31st August 2012 supported in kind by Nottingham Contemporary (day 1) & Primary (day 2) and supported by Loughborough University , Nottingham Trent University. The symposium continues into the evening as we host a communal meal, performances and open mic opportunities for symposium delegates at a Community Hall in Sneinton on the 30th August.
Dialogue is an ambiguous term and can be interpreted in many ways dependent upon intention, discipline, context, linguistic and cultural community.
Our aim is to create a dialogue between the different applications and understanding of the term ‘dialogue’, considering differences, commonalities and how a discussion of this can lead to new ways of working and the creation of new knowledge.
The call for papers is now open and full details can be found at http://indialogue2012.wordpress.com (see details below)
