Dear Archives-NRA listers,
What do visitors and users need?
==========
Qualitative research is valuable element of finding out what people think
and feel about organisations. On 17 May Anita van Mil returns to Creating
Capacity with Qualitative Research: A practical guide to techniques that
work. It will focus on low-cost and effective solutions.
What will I learn?
----------
By joining this lively and interactive session you will learn how to:
* Design an effective research plan
* Recruit participants
* Use the appropriate tools for the situation
* Develop interviewing, facilitation, questioning and listening skills
* Analyse and interpret qualitative data
* Present research findings
* Understand good practice guidelines and rules
What are the benefits?
----------
The benefits of attending are that participants will have learned some
really effective, practical tools and techniques for understanding the
motivations of the people that use their services. They can then build on
this to develop an effective and resilient organisation.
As a previous participant said,
'Hopkins Van Mil had tailored the workshop to case studies and individual
organisations - this was very helpful and made the course straightforward to
understand and really enjoyable'
What do I do next?
