European Network of Business and Industrial Statistics
ENBIS 12 will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 10-12 September 2012. There is a choice of pre and post conference short courses including Roland Caulcutt on “Teaching statistics for business improvement” and Galit Shmueli and Ron Kenett on “To explain or predict?”. There are keynote presentations by Marco Grobelnik of J. Stefan Institute, Slovenia, Rob Kozinets, Chair of Marketing, York University, Canada, Steve MacFeely, Director of Business Statistics & Methodology, Central Statistics Office, Ireland, John Pullinger, Librarian and Director General, Information Services at the House of Commons, London, President elect of RSS and Grant Reinman, Senior Fellow, Statistics and Design For Variation at Pratt & Whitney, US.
There will be many special sessions including these organised around the following themes: software, French ENBIS, US ENBIS members, ISBIS, DEINDE and Hidden Gems.
Oral and poster presentations are welcome on all aspects of statistics in business and industry with closing date for abstracts on May 10th.
