(Senior) Statistical Programmer

OUR CHALLENGE
At our Bakken Research Center in Maastricht, about 220 clinical researchers, scientists and technical engineers cooperate closely with medical specialists in and outside of Europe to develop new and improve existing therapies in Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management and Cardiovascular Surgery. Our broad range of clinical services includes international project management, statistical advise, IT support and medical writing, which makes us Medtronic’s authority on clinical research outside of the US.
OUR OFFER
As a statistical programmer you will be responsible for the extraction and creation of analysis data sets and programming of statistical summary tables. You will work closely with the local biostatisticians and link with global programmers to understand and where applicable align to standardization of programs. You will be able to handle complex statistical programming issues independently. You will bring ideas for new projects and take the initiative to solve issues.
YOUR PROFILE
• Master’s degree
• Strong interest in medical science
• Experience in statistical programming in SAS
We are looking for a team player with good communication skills. You have an expert knowledge of SAS software, experience creating analysis datasets and programming tables, figures and listings. You have a good understanding of databases, clinical trial practices, and regulatory requirements (i.e GCP, ICH). You work independently with low supervision and you are a self-starter and a generalist with excellent statistical and analytical skills. You are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
