Vacancy Reference: 008571
We are looking to appoint someone with a research track record who could:
•make a significant contribution to the research portfolio in the Centre for Lifespan and Chronic Illness Research (CLiCIR) in epidemiology, medical statistics, or relevant area of quantitative health services research.
•develop a programme of research that will engage NHS/other research active clinicians to address priority areas identified by NIHR /RCUK.
This post is one of three Senior Research Fellow/Research Fellow posts (see CLiCIR website www.go.herts.ac.uk/clicir), currently being advertised in the Centre for Life Span and Chronic Illness ( CLiCIR ), and resulting from a strategic initiative developed jointly between CLiCIR, the School of Postgraduate Medicine and the Office of the Vice Chancellor . This initiative builds on collaborative research on long term conditions between university staff and NHS based research clinicians (see www.go.herts.ac.uk/clicir)
Applicants should have relevant qualifications together with experience in an area of research that fits with current CLiCIR research programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for either an early career researcher, or someone with a well established research portfolio, to work with an expanding research group with internationally recognised research in long term conditions.
