Just to add to that. I was speaking at the BICA Study Day and drew their
attention to your piece in the current BICA Journal. I referred to your
previous study (Hadley and Hanley) in my paper as I thought it was a very
welcome addition to the literature. As you may know, the only difficulty
with BICA counsellors is that they are predominantly working with people
actively seeking (or using) AC treatment so may struggle to find older
recruits. May be worth also trying the BACP journal as their members may
have people coming to them at a later stage. You've probably already
thought of getting a story into newspapers or magazines?
Hope you get some recruits and I look forward to reading your findings down
the line....

Hi Rob
Not breaking protocol at all, welcome to the list. It is a fairly new
discussion list: we are currently in the process of getting together a
network of people interested in this field.
In relation to your request, have you tried contacting the support group,
More to Life? http://www.infertilitynetworkuk.com/moretolife/ They may be
able to help, if you have not been in touch with them already. BICA also
recently ran a study day on men and infertility (last Friday in fact), some
of their counsellors may be able to help out.
Good luck,
Nicky

Subject: Looking participants
Dear All,
Apologies if I am unintentionally breaking a protocol.I am a PhD student
at Keele University, UK, and my area of interest is the life experiences
of older involuntarily childless men. Brief details of the study can be
found at my website: www.wantedtobeadad.com
However I am struggling to access participants and I hoping that you will
assist me my passing on the website details to any individual or
organisation that may be interested in taking part.
Best regards,
Rob
